तरैलॊक्यप्राणयात्रार्थे वर्षावर्षे भयाभये सवयं भुवा नियुक्तः सन भुवनं परिधावति ।। १-६०-४१ ।।

sanskrit

'For the protection and sustenance of the three worlds, year after year, in times of fear and fearlessness, he himself was appointed by Brahma and he wanders over the entire world.' ।। 1-60-41 ।।

english translation

tarailòkyaprANayAtrArthe varSAvarSe bhayAbhaye savayaM bhuvA niyuktaH sana bhuvanaM paridhAvati || 1-60-41 ||

'A master of yoga, possessing great intelligence, he became the guru of the demons, and for the gods, he was a wise and dedicated follower of Brahmacharya (celibacy).' ।। 1-60-42 ।।

yògAcAryò mahAbuddhira daityAnAma abhavada guruH surANAM cApi medhAvI barahma cArI yatavrataH || 1-60-42 ||

'Chyavana, radiant like the sun, a being of virtuous spirit and renowned wisdom, emerged from his mother's womb in a state of anger, thereby facilitating her liberation.' ।। 1-60-44 ।।

'Aruni, the daughter of Manu, became the wife of the wise sage. From their union, Aurva was born, emerging through the thigh, earning great fame. Even as a child, he possessed immense penance and brilliance, endowed with virtues.' ।। 1-60-45 ।।

AruNI tu manòH kanyA tasya patnI manISiNaH aurvasa tasyAM samabhavada UruM bhittvA mahAyazAH mahAtapA mahAtejA bAla eva guNaira yutaH || 1-60-45 ||
