आरुणी तु मनॊः कन्या तस्य पत्नी मनीषिणः और्वस तस्यां समभवद ऊरुं भित्त्वा महायशाः महातपा महातेजा बाल एव गुणैर युतः ॥ १-६०-४५ ॥

sanskrit

'Aruni, the daughter of Manu, became the wife of the wise sage. From their union, Aurva was born, emerging through the thigh, earning great fame. Even as a child, he possessed immense penance and brilliance, endowed with virtues.' ॥ 1-60-45 ॥

english translation

AruNI tu manòH kanyA tasya patnI manISiNaH aurvasa tasyAM samabhavada UruM bhittvA mahAyazAH mahAtapA mahAtejA bAla eva guNaira yutaH ॥ 1-60-45 ॥
