यॊगाचार्यॊ महाबुद्धिर दैत्यानाम अभवद गुरुः सुराणां चापि मेधावी बरह्म चारी यतव्रतः ॥ १-६०-४२ ॥

sanskrit

'A master of yoga, possessing great intelligence, he became the guru of the demons, and for the gods, he was a wise and dedicated follower of Brahmacharya (celibacy).' ॥ 1-60-42 ॥

english translation

yògAcAryò mahAbuddhira daityAnAma abhavada guruH surANAM cApi medhAvI barahma cArI yatavrataH ॥ 1-60-42 ॥
