तरयस तस्य वराः पुत्राः सर्वभूतमनॊहराः शमः कामश च हर्षश च तेजसा लॊकधारिणः ।। १-६०-३१ ।।

'Dharma had three splendid sons, enchanting to all beings: Shama, Kama, and Harsha, who sustain the world with their radiance.' ।। 1-60-31 ।।

tarayasa tasya varAH putrAH sarvabhUtamanòharAH zamaH kAmaza ca harSaza ca tejasA lòkadhAriNaH || 1-60-31 ||

कामस्य तु रतिर भार्या शमस्य पराप्तिर अङ्गना नन्दी तु भार्या हर्षस्य यत्र लॊकाः परतिष्ठिताः ।। १-६०-३२ ।।

'Rati is the spouse of Kama, Prapti is the consort of Shama, and Nanda is the wife of Harsha. Indeed, the worlds depend on them.' ।। 1-60-32 ।।

kAmasya tu ratira bhAryA zamasya parAptira aGganA nandI tu bhAryA harSasya yatra lòkAH paratiSThitAH || 1-60-32 ||

मरीचेः कश्यपः पुत्रः कश्यपस्य सुरासुराः जज्ञिरे नृपशार्दूल लॊकानां परभवस तु सः ।। १-६०-३३ ।।

'Marichi's son is Kasyapa, from whom originated both gods and Asuras. Hence, Kasyapa is recognized as the Father of the worlds.' ।। 1-60-33 ।।

'And Tvashtri, of the form of Vadava (a mare), became the wife of Savitri. And she gave birth, in the celestial realm, to two greatly fortunate twins, the Aswins.' ।। 1-60-34 ।।
