अथेमां सागरापाङ्गां गां गजेन्द्र गताखिलाम अध्यतिष्ठत पुनः कषत्रं सशैलवनकाननाम ॥ १-५८-११ ॥

'And, O ruler with the strength of an elephant, this vast earth, bounded by the ocean, with its mountains, forests, and cities, was once again under the governance of the Kshatriyas.' ॥ 1-58-11 ॥

परशासति पुनः कषत्रे धर्मेणेमां वसुंधराम बराह्मणाद्यास तदा वर्णा लेभिरे मुदम उत्तमाम ॥ १-५८-१२ ॥

'And when the earth began to be again governed virtuously by the Kshatriyas, the other orders having Brahmanas for their first were filled with great joy.' ॥ 1-58-12 ॥

parazAsati punaH kaSatre dharmeNemAM vasuMdharAma barAhmaNAdyAsa tadA varNA lebhire mudama uttamAma ॥ 1-58-12 ॥

कामक्रॊधॊद्भवान दॊषान निरस्य च नराधिपाः दण्डं दण्ड्येषु धर्मेण परणयन्तॊ ऽनवपालयन ॥ १-५८-१३ ॥

'And the kings giving up all vices born of lust and anger and justly awarding punishments to those that deserved them protected the earth.' ॥ 1-58-13 ॥

kAmakròdhòdbhavAna dòSAna nirasya ca narAdhipAH daNDaM daNDyeSu dharmeNa paraNayantò 'navapAlayana ॥ 1-58-13 ॥

तथा धर्मपरे कषत्रे सहस्राक्षः शतक्रतुः सवादु देशे च काले च ववर्षाप्याययन परजाः ॥ १-५८-१४ ॥

'And he of a hundred sacrifices, possessed also of a thousand eyes, beholding that the Kshatriya monarchs ruled so virtuously, poured down vivifying showers at proper times and places and blessed all creatures.' ॥ 1-58-14 ॥

tathA dharmapare kaSatre sahasrAkSaH zatakratuH savAdu deze ca kAle ca vavarSApyAyayana parajAH ॥ 1-58-14 ॥

न बाल एव मरियते तदा कश चिन नराधिप न च सत्रियं परजानाति कश चिद अप्राप्तयौवनः ॥ १-५८-१५ ॥

'During that period, O king, no one in their youth faced death, and none entered into marital relations before reaching maturity.' ॥ 1-58-15 ॥

na bAla eva mariyate tadA kaza cina narAdhipa na ca satriyaM parajAnAti kaza cida aprAptayauvanaH ॥ 1-58-15 ॥
