ततः सा जनयित्वा तौ विशस्ता मत्स्यघातिना संत्यज्य मत्स्यरूपं सा दिव्यं रूपम अवाप्य च सिद्धर्षिचारणपथं जगामाथ वराप्सराः ।। १-५७-५३ ।।

sanskrit

'Then, according to these words, having given birth to the two children, and been killed by the fishermen, she left her fish-form and assumed her celestial shape. The Apsara then rose on the path trodden by the Siddhas, the Rishis, and the Charanas.' ।। 1-57-53 ।।

english translation

tataH sA janayitvA tau vizastA matsyaghAtinA saMtyajya matsyarUpaM sA divyaM rUpama avApya ca siddharSicAraNapathaM jagAmAtha varApsarAH || 1-57-53 ||
