संपूजितॊ मघवता वसुश चेदिपतिस तदा पालयाम आस धर्मेण चेदिस्थः पृथिवीम इमाम इन्द्र परीत्या भूमिपतिश चकारेन्द्र महं वसुः ॥ १-५७-२७ ॥

'And from Chedi, he ruled the whole world virtuously. And for the gratification of Indra, Vasu, the lord of the Chedis, observed the festivity of Indra.' ॥ 1-57-27 ॥

english translation

saMpUjitò maghavatA vasuza cedipatisa tadA pAlayAma Asa dharmeNa cedisthaH pRthivIma imAma indra parItyA bhUmipatiza cakArendra mahaM vasuH ॥ 1-57-27 ॥
