भगवान पूज्यते चात्र हास्यरूपेण शंकरः सवयम एव गृहीतेन वसॊः परीत्या महात्मनः ॥ १-५७-२१ ॥
'The revered Lord Shiva is worshipped here in the form of a smiling countenance,Embracing, with great reverence, the Vasa (the sacrificial post) that is self-taken.' ॥ 1-57-21 ॥
english translation
एतां पूजां महेन्द्रस तु दृष्ट्वा देवकृतां शुभाम वसुना राजमुख्येन परीतिमान अब्रवीद विभुः ॥ १-५७-२२ ॥
'Seeing this auspicious worship performed by Vasu, King of the Gods, Mahendra,The mighty deity addressed him, surrounded by the chief gods.' ॥ 1-57-22 ॥
english translation
ये पूजयिष्यन्ति नरा राजानश च महं मम कारयिष्यन्ति च मुदा यथा चेदिपतिर नृपः ॥ १-५७-२३ ॥
'Those men, and kings also, who will worship me and joyously observe this festival of mine like the king of Chedi.' ॥ 1-57-23 ॥
english translation
तेषां शरीर विजयश चैव सराष्ट्राणां भविष्यति तथा सफीतॊ जनपदॊ मुदितश च भविष्यति ॥ १-५७-२४ ॥
'They shall attain glory and victory for their countries and kingdoms. Furthermore, their cities will flourish and remain in perpetual joy.' ॥ 1-57-24 ॥

एवं महात्मना तेन महेन्द्रेण नराधिप वसुः परीत्या मघवता महाराजॊ ऽभिसत्कृतः ॥ १-५७-२५ ॥
'Thus, honored by the great-souled King Mahendra, Vasu, encircled by the sacrificial post, was respectfully praised.' ॥ 1-57-25 ॥
