किमर्थं ते नरव्याघ्राः शक्ताः सन्तॊ हय अनागसः परयुज्यमानान संक्लेशान कषान्तवन्तॊ दुरात्मनाम ॥ १-५६-५ ॥

'Why also did those tigers among men, innocent and capable of avenging themselves upon their enemies, calmly suffer the persecution of the wicked Kurus?' ॥ 1-56-5 ॥

kimarthaM te naravyAghrAH zaktAH santò haya anAgasaH parayujyamAnAna saMklezAna kaSAntavantò durAtmanAma ॥ 1-56-5 ॥
