काञ्चनं विष्टरं तस्मै सदस्यानुमते परभुः आसनं कल्पयाम आस यथा शक्रॊ बृहस्पतेः ।। १-५४-११ ।।

sanskrit

'And the king with the approval of his Sadasyas, gave the Rishi a golden seat as Indra did to Vrihaspati.' ।। 1-54-11 ।।

english translation

kAJcanaM viSTaraM tasmai sadasyAnumate parabhuH AsanaM kalpayAma Asa yathA zakrò bRhaspateH || 1-54-11 ||

तत्रॊपविष्टं वरदं देवर्षिगणपूजितम पूजयाम आस राजेन्द्रः शास्त्रदृष्टेन कर्मणा ।। १-५४-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'And when the Rishi, capable of granting boons and adored by the celestial Rishis themselves, had been seated, the king of kings worshipped him according to the rites of the scriptures.' ।। 1-54-12 ।।

tatròpaviSTaM varadaM devarSigaNapUjitama pUjayAma Asa rAjendraH zAstradRSTena karmaNA || 1-54-12 ||

'The king then ceremoniously presented water for washing the feet and mouth, along with the Arghya, to his deserving grandfather, Krishna, and also offered cattle.' ।। 1-54-13 ।।

'And accepting those offerings from the Pandava Janamejaya and ordering the kine also not to be slain, Vyasa became much gratified.' ।। 1-54-14 ।।
