[स] एवं सतुताः सर्व एव परसन्ना; राजा सदस्या ऋत्विजॊ हव्यवाहः तेषां दृष्ट्वा भावितानीङ्गितानि; परॊवाच राजा जनमेजयॊ ऽथ ।। १-५०-१७ ।।

sanskrit

'Sauti said, 'Astika, having thus adored all, including the king, the Sadasyas, the Ritwiks, and the sacrificial fire, gratified them. King Janamejaya, observing the signs and indications manifested all around, then addressed them as follows.' ।। 1-50-17 ।।

english translation

[sa] evaM satutAH sarva eva parasannA; rAjA sadasyA Rtvijò havyavAhaH teSAM dRSTvA bhAvitAnIGgitAni; paròvAca rAjA janamejayò 'tha || 1-50-17 ||
