वासुकिश चापि तच छरुत्वा पितामहवचस तदा अमृते मथिते तात देवाञ शरणम ईयिवान ॥ १-४९-९ ॥

sanskrit

'Having endorsed her words, Vasuki, upon hearing the curse and the Grandsire's utterances, sought the shelter of the gods, O child, during the churning of the nectar.' ॥ 1-49-9 ॥

english translation

vAsukiza cApi taca charutvA pitAmahavacasa tadA amRte mathite tAta devAJa zaraNama IyivAna ॥ 1-49-9 ॥
