वासुकिश चापि तच छरुत्वा पितामहवचस तदा अमृते मथिते तात देवाञ शरणम ईयिवान ।। १-४९-९ ।।

sanskrit

'Having endorsed her words, Vasuki, upon hearing the curse and the Grandsire's utterances, sought the shelter of the gods, O child, during the churning of the nectar.' ।। 1-49-9 ।।

english translation

vAsukiza cApi taca charutvA pitAmahavacasa tadA amRte mathite tAta devAJa zaraNama IyivAna || 1-49-9 ||
