उच्छैः शरवाः सॊ ऽशवराजॊ यन मिथ्या न कृतॊ मम विनता निमित्तं पणिते दासभावाय पुत्रकाः ।। १-४९-६ ।।

'Addressing the snakes she said, 'As ye have refused to falsely represent Uchchaihsravas, the prince of horses, for bringing about Vinata's bondage according to the wager.' ।। 1-49-6 ।।

english translation

ucchaiH zaravAH sò 'zavarAjò yana mithyA na kRtò mama vinatA nimittaM paNite dAsabhAvAya putrakAH || 1-49-6 ||

जनमेजयस्य वॊ यज्ञे धक्ष्यत्य अनिलसारथिः तत्र पञ्चत्वम आपन्नाः परेतलॊकं गमिष्यथ ।। १-४९-७ ।।

'So, with Vayu as his charioteer, he will burn all of you in Janamejaya's sacrifice. Perishing in that ritual, you shall proceed to the realm of the unredeemed spirits.' ।। 1-49-7 ।।

janamejayasya vò yajJe dhakSyatya anilasArathiH tatra paJcatvama ApannAH paretalòkaM gamiSyatha || 1-49-7 ||

तां च शप्तवतीम एवं साक्षाल लॊकपितामहः एवम अस्त्व इति तद वाक्यं परॊवाचानुमुमॊद च ।। १-४९-८ ।।

'The Grandsire of all worlds spoke to her, saying, "So be it," as he uttered this curse.' ।। 1-49-8 ।।

tAM ca zaptavatIma evaM sAkSAla lòkapitAmahaH evama astva iti tada vAkyaM paròvAcAnumumòda ca || 1-49-8 ||

वासुकिश चापि तच छरुत्वा पितामहवचस तदा अमृते मथिते तात देवाञ शरणम ईयिवान ।। १-४९-९ ।।

'Having endorsed her words, Vasuki, upon hearing the curse and the Grandsire's utterances, sought the shelter of the gods, O child, during the churning of the nectar.' ।। 1-49-9 ।।

सिद्धार्थाश च सुराः सर्वे पराप्यामृतम अनुत्तमम भरातरं मे पुरस्कृत्य परजापतिम उपागमन ।। १-४९-१० ।।

'All the Siddhas and Devas, having obtained the unparalleled nectar, approached Prajapati, honoring him, my brother.' ।। 1-49-10 ।।

siddhArthAza ca surAH sarve parApyAmRtama anuttamama bharAtaraM me puraskRtya parajApatima upAgamana || 1-49-10 ||
