[आस्तीक] किंनिमित्तं मम पितुर दत्ता तवं मातुलेन मे तन ममाचक्ष्व तत्त्वेन शरुत्वा कर्तास्मि तत तथा ॥ १-४९-३ ॥
'Astika inquired, "O mother, for what reason were you given to my father by my uncle? Share the complete truth with me so that, upon understanding, I may fulfill what is rightful."' ॥ 1-49-3 ॥
