तं वै नृप वरं गत्वा दीक्षितं जनमेजयम वाग्भिर मङ्गलयुक्ताभिस तॊषयिष्ये ऽदय मातुल यथा स यज्ञॊ नृपतेर निर्वर्तिष्यति सत्तम ॥ १-४९-२० ॥
'Therefore, without further delay, O uncle, I shall proceed there today. I will express my gratification to the reigning monarch Janamejaya at the ongoing sacrifice, offering words imbued with blessings, with the intention that, O distinguished one, the sacrifice may come to a halt.' ॥ 1-49-20 ॥
