ऋषेर हि शृङ्गेर वचनं कृत्वा दग्ध्वा च पार्थिवम यदि गच्छेद असौ पापॊ ननु जीवेत पिता मम ॥ १-४६-३७ ॥
'He caused my father's demise by using Sringin merely as a secondary instrument. It was out of sheer malevolence that he compelled Kasyapa's return. Had that Brahmana arrived, there is no doubt that my father would have been saved.' ॥ 1-46-37 ॥
