निःश्वासम उष्णम असकृद दीर्घं राजीवलॊचनः मुमॊचाश्रूणि च तदा नेत्राभ्यां परततं नृपः उवाच च महीपालॊ दुःखशॊकसमन्वितः ॥ १-४६-३४ ॥

sanskrit

'And the monarch began to squeeze his hands. And the lotus-eyed king began to breathe a long and hot breath, shed tears, and shrieked aloud. And possessed with grief and sorrow, and shedding copious tears, and touching water according to the form, the monarch spake.' ॥ 1-46-34 ॥

english translation

niHzvAsama uSNama asakRda dIrghaM rAjIvalòcanaH mumòcAzrUNi ca tadA netrAbhyAM paratataM nRpaH uvAca ca mahIpAlò duHkhazòkasamanvitaH ॥ 1-46-34 ॥
