स चापि मुनिशार्दूलः परेषयाम आस ते पितुः शप्तॊ ऽसि मम पुत्रेण यत्तॊ भव महीपते तक्षकस तवां महाराज तेजसा सादयिष्यति ॥ १-४६-१२ ।
'The eminent sage, resembling a tiger among Rishis, then dispatched his disciple, Gaurmukha, to your father. Gaurmukha, possessing amiable manners and every virtue, arrived at the court and, after a brief rest, conveyed the message to the king. In the words of his master, he revealed, "O king, you have been cursed by my son, and Takshaka shall burn you with his venom!"' ॥ 1-46-12 ॥
