एतच छरुत्वा स नागेन्द्रॊ वासुकिः परया मुदा एवम अस्त्व इति तद वाक्यं भगिन्याः परत्यगृह्णत ॥ १-४४-१४ ॥
'Sauti continued, 'Thus addressed, Vasuki, the king of the snakes, accepted those words of his sister, and in great joy said, 'Be it so!' ॥ 1-44-14 ॥
