सवैरेष्व अपि न तेनाहं समरामि वितथं कव चित उक्तपूर्वं कुतॊ राजन साम्पराये स वक्ष्यति ॥ १-४४-११ ॥
'I cannot recall any instance where he has spoken even in jest anything untrue before. Why would he, O king, utter a falsehood on such a significant occasion?' ॥ 1-44-11 ॥
