तपॊ वाप्य अथ वा यज्ञॊ यच चान्यत पावनं महत तत सर्वं न समं तात संतत्येति सतां मतम ॥ १-४१-२८ ॥
'O child, be it asceticism, sacrifice, or any other profoundly virtuous deed, everything is considered inferior. These cannot count with a son.' ॥ 1-41-28 ॥
