मन्दभाग्यॊ ऽलपभाग्यानां बन्धुः स खिल नः कुले जरत्कारुर इति खयातॊ वेदवेदाङ्गपारगः नियतात्मा महात्मा च सुव्रतः सुमहातपाः ॥ १-४१-१८ ॥

sanskrit

'It matters little, however, whether he is or is not. Unfortunate as we are, we have a thread in one, known as Jaratkaru. The unfortunate one has gone through the Vedas and their branches and is practicing asceticism alone. He is one with soul under complete control.' ॥ 1-41-18 ॥

english translation

mandabhAgyò 'lapabhAgyAnAM bandhuH sa khila naH kule jaratkArura iti khayAtò vedavedAGgapAragaH niyatAtmA mahAtmA ca suvrataH sumahAtapAH ॥ 1-41-18 ॥
