तपसॊ ऽसय चतुर्थेन तृतीयेनापि वा पुनः अर्धेन वापि निस्तर्तुम आपदं बरूत माचिरम ॥ १-४१-१० ॥

'Quickly inform me whether this calamity can be averted by sacrificing a fourth, a third, or even half of my asceticism. If necessary, relieve yourselves even with the entirety of my ascetic practices. I consent to all possibilities; do as you see fit.' ॥ 1-41-10 ॥

english translation

tapasò 'saya caturthena tRtIyenApi vA punaH ardhena vApi nistartuma ApadaM barUta mAcirama ॥ 1-41-10 ॥
