पूजितश च नरेन्द्रेण दविजॊ गौर मुखस ततः आचख्यौ परिविश्रान्तॊ राज्ञे सर्वम अशेषतः शमीक वचनं घॊरं यथॊक्तं मन्त्रिसंनिधौ ॥ १-३८-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'And the twice-born Gaurmukha was duly worshipped by the monarch. And after resting for a while, he detailed fully to the king, in the presence of his ministers, the words of Samika, of cruel import, exactly as he had been instructed.' ॥ 1-38-16 ॥

english translation

pUjitaza ca narendreNa davijò gaura mukhasa tataH Acakhyau parivizrAntò rAjJe sarvama azeSataH zamIka vacanaM ghòraM yathòktaM mantrisaMnidhau ॥ 1-38-16 ॥
