संदिश्य कुशलप्रश्नं कार्यवृत्तान्तम एव च शिष्यं गौर मुखं नाम शीलवन्तं समाहितम ।। १-३८-१४ ।।

sanskrit

'And he sent his disciple Gaurmukha of good manners and engaged also in ascetic penances, instructing him to first enquire about the king's welfare and then to communicate the real message.' ।। 1-38-14 ।।

english translation

saMdizya kuzalapraznaM kAryavRttAntama eva ca ziSyaM gaura mukhaM nAma zIlavantaM samAhitama || 1-38-14 ||
