स उपाध्यायेन संदिष्ट आरुणिः पाञ्चाल्यस तत्र गत्वा तत केदारखण्डं बद्धुं नाशक्नॊत ॥ १-३-२१ ॥

'Having been directed by his teacher, Aruni from Panchala went to the Kedar region but faced challenges in securing the desired results despite his efforts.' ॥ 1-3-21 ॥

स कलिश्यमानॊ ऽपश्यद उपायम भवत्व एवं करिष्यामीति ॥ १-३-२२ ॥

'Feeling disheartened, he saw a solution and thought, "I will find a way to overcome this obstacle." ' ॥ 1-3-22 ॥

'And sometime after, the preceptor Ayoda-Dhaumya asked his other disciples where Aruni of Panchala was.' ॥ 1-3-24 ॥
