परविश्य च नागलॊकं सवभवनम अगच्छत तम उत्तङ्कॊ ऽनवाविवेश तेनैव बिलेन परविश्य च नागान अस्तुवद एभिः शलॊकैः ॥ १-३-१३८ ॥

'Now, Utanka, recollecting the words of the Queen, pursued the Serpent, and began to dig open the hole with a stick but was unable to make much progress. Having entered the world of serpents and reaching his abode, Utanka, in the form of Takshaka, praised the other snakes with verses.' ॥ 1-3-137 ॥

paravizya ca nAgalòkaM savabhavanama agacchata tama uttaGkò 'navAviveza tenaiva bilena paravizya ca nAgAna astuvada ebhiH zalòkaiH ॥ 1-3-138 ॥
