परविश्य च नागलॊकं सवभवनम अगच्छत तम उत्तङ्कॊ ऽनवाविवेश तेनैव बिलेन परविश्य च नागान अस्तुवद एभिः शलॊकैः ।। १-३-१३८ ।।

sanskrit

'Now, Utanka, recollecting the words of the Queen, pursued the Serpent, and began to dig open the hole with a stick but was unable to make much progress. Having entered the world of serpents and reaching his abode, Utanka, in the form of Takshaka, praised the other snakes with verses.' ।। 1-3-137 ।।

english translation

paravizya ca nAgalòkaM savabhavanama agacchata tama uttaGkò 'navAviveza tenaiva bilena paravizya ca nAgAna astuvada ebhiH zalòkaiH || 1-3-138 ||
