चक्षुर विषौ महावीर्यौ नित्यक्रुद्धौ तरस्विनौ रक्षार्थम एवामृतस्य ददर्श भुजगॊत्तमौ ॥ १-१९-६ ॥
'Very terrible, always in anger, and of great activity. Their eyes were ceaselessly inflamed with rage and were also winkles.' ॥ 1-29-6 ॥
english translation
सदा संरब्ध नयनौ सदा चानिमिषेक्षणौ तयॊर एकॊ ऽपि यं पश्येत स तूर्णं भस्मसाद भवेत ॥ १-१९-७ ॥
'He who may be seen by even one of the two would instantly be reduced to ashes.' ॥ 1-29-7 ॥
english translation
तयॊश चक्षूंषि रजसा सुपर्णस तूर्णम आवृणॊत अदृष्टरूपस तौ चापि सर्वतः पर्यकालयत ॥ १-१९-८ ॥
'The bird of fair feathers suddenly covered their eyes with dust. And unseen by them he attacked them from all sides.' ॥ 1-29-8 ॥

तयॊर अङ्गे समाक्रम्य वैनतेयॊ ऽनतरिक्षगः आछिनत तरसा मध्ये सॊमम अभ्यद्रवत ततः ॥ १-१९-९ ॥
'And the son of Vinata, that ranger of the skies, attacking their bodies, mangled them into pieces.' ॥ 1-29-9 ॥

समुत्पाट्यामृतं तत तु वैनतेयस ततॊ बली उत्पपात जवेनैव यन्त्रम उन्मथ्य वीर्यवान ॥ १-१९-१० ॥
'He then approached the Soma without loss of time. Then the mighty son of Vinata, taking up the Amrita from the place where it was kept, rose on his wings with great speed, breaking into pieces the machine that had surrounded it.' ॥ 1-29-10 ॥
