साध्याः पराचीं सगन्धर्वा वसवॊ दक्षिणां दिशम परजग्मुः सहिता रुद्रैः पतगेन्द्र परधर्षिताः ।। १-१८-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Overcome by the lord of birds, the Sadhyas with the Gandharvas fled eastwards, the Vasus with the Rudras towards the south.' ।। 1-28-16 ।।

english translation

sAdhyAH parAcIM sagandharvA vasavò dakSiNAM dizama parajagmuH sahitA rudraiH patagendra paradharSitAH || 1-18-16 ||

'With his heroic neighing, the valiant Garuda, the winged one, shattered the array of the enemies like a thunderbolt, as well as with his sharp beak and scorching wings.' ।। 1-28-18 ।।
