दिशं परतीचीम आदित्या नासत्या उत्तरां दिशम मुहुर मुहुः परेक्षमाणा युध्यमाना महौजसम ॥ १-१८-१७ ॥

'The Adityas towards the west, and the twin Aswins towards the north. Gifted with great energy, they retreated fighting, looking back every moment on their enemy.' ॥ 1-28-17 ॥

dizaM paratIcIma AdityA nAsatyA uttarAM dizama muhura muhuH parekSamANA yudhyamAnA mahaujasama ॥ 1-18-17 ॥
