नैताभ्यां भविता दॊषः सकाशात ते पुरंदर वयेतु ते शक्र संतापस तवम एवेन्द्रॊ भविष्यसि ॥ १-१७-३१ ॥
'No harm shall befall you from them. Put an end to your sorrow; you shall remain the sovereign of all. However, never again should you disparage those who invoke the name of Brahma.' ॥ 1-27-31 ॥
english translation
न चाप्य एवं तवया भूयः कषेप्तया बरह्मवादिनः न चावमान्या दर्पात ते वाग विषा भृशकॊपनाः ॥ १-१७-३२ ॥
'And never again insult those highly wrathful beings, whose words are as potent as the thunderbolt. Indra, having been addressed in this manner, ascended to heaven, his fears dispelled.' ॥ 1-27-32 ॥
english translation
एवम उक्तॊ जगामेन्द्रॊ निर्विशङ्कस तरिविष्टपम विनता चापि सिद्धार्था बभूव मुदिता तदा ॥ १-१७-३३ ॥
'Thus addressed, Indra departed to the vast sky without any apprehension,and Vinata, achieving her desired purpose, became joyous at that moment.' ॥ 1-27-33 ॥
english translation
जनयाम आस पुत्रौ दवाव अरुणं गरुडं तथा अरुणस तयॊस तु विकल आदित्यस्य पुरःसरः ॥ १-१७-३४ ॥
'And she gave birth to two sons, Aruna and Garuda. And Aruna, of undeveloped body, became the fore-runner of the Sun.' ॥ 1-27-34 ॥

पतत्रीणां तु गरुड इन्द्रत्वेनाभ्यषिच्यत तस्यैतत कर्म सुमहच छरूयतां भृगुनन्दन ॥ १-१७-३५ ॥
'And Garuda was vested with the lordship over the birds. O thou of Bhrigu's race, hearken now to the mighty achievement of Garuda.' ॥ 1-27-35 ॥
