[वि] यस ते कण्ठम अनुप्राप्तॊ निगीर्णं बडिशं यथा दहेद अङ्गारवत पुत्र तं विद्याद बाह्मणर्षभम ।। १-१४-६ ।।

sanskrit

'Vinata replied, saying, "O child, recognize as the foremost among Brahmanas the one who, if swallowed, would afflict you like a fish-hook or scorch you like blazing charcoal. Even in anger, you must never slay a Brahmana." Expressing her maternal concern, Vinata reiterated, "Identify as a virtuous Brahmana the one who would remain undigested in your stomach."' ।। 1-24-6 ।।

english translation

[vi] yasa te kaNThama anuprAptò nigIrNaM baDizaM yathA daheda aGgAravata putra taM vidyAda bAhmaNarSabhama || 1-14-6 ||
