[मन्दपाल] न सत्रीणां विद्यते किं चिद अन्यत्र पुरुषान्तरात सापत्नकम ऋते लॊके भवितव्यं हि तत तथा ।। १-२२४-२६ ।।

sanskrit

'Mandapala replied, "For women, there is nothing more destructive to their happiness, both in this world and the next, than a co-wife and a secret lover. These two ignite the fire of animosity like nothing else and cause immense anxiety."' ।। 1-224-26 ।।

english translation

[mandapAla] na satrINAM vidyate kiM cida anyatra puruSAntarAta sApatnakama Rte lòke bhavitavyaM hi tata tathA || 1-224-26 ||
