इमे च मां कर्षयन्ति शिशवॊ मन्दचेतसः अबर्हाश चरणैर हीनाः पूर्वेषां नः परायणम तरासयंश चायम आयाति लेलिहानॊ महीरुहान ।। १-२२१-४ ।।

'"These infants, lacking feathers and feet, and the sole refuge of our deceased ancestors, trouble me deeply with their immature understanding. Oh, this fire approaches, spreading fear all around, licking the tallest trees with its tongue, lamented Jarita."' ।। 1-221-4 ।।

english translation

ime ca mAM karSayanti zizavò mandacetasaH abarhAza caraNaira hInAH pUrveSAM naH parAyaNama tarAsayaMza cAyama AyAti lelihAnò mahIruhAna || 1-221-4 ||
