[वै] तच छरुत्वा मन्दपालस तु तेषां वाक्यं दिवौकसाम कव नु शीघ्रम अपत्यं सयाद बहुलं चेत्य अचिन्तयत ।। १-२२०-१५ ।।

'Vaisampayana continued, "Having heard these words of the celestial beings, Mandapala contemplated how he could best achieve the greatest number of offspring in the shortest possible time."' ।। 1-220-15 ।।

english translation

[vai] taca charutvA mandapAlasa tu teSAM vAkyaM divaukasAma kava nu zIghrama apatyaM sayAda bahulaM cetya acintayata || 1-220-15 ||
