न च सम किं चिच छक्नॊति भूतं निश्चरितं ततः संछाद्यमाने खगमैर अस्यता सव्यसाचिना ॥ १-२१८-३ ॥

sanskrit

'When the sky above that forest was thus covered with the arrows of Arjuna no living creature could then escape from below.' ॥ 1-218-3 ॥

english translation

na ca sama kiM cica chaknòti bhUtaM nizcaritaM tataH saMchAdyamAne khagamaira asyatA savyasAcinA ॥ 1-218-3 ॥
