तांश चकर्त शरैः पार्थः सरॊषान दृश्यखे चरान विवशाश चापतन दीप्तं देहाभावाय पावकम ।। १-२१८-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'Beholding them approach, Arjuna cut them into pieces using arrows steeped in the fire of his wrath. Then those birds and snakes, deprived of life, fell into the burning element below.' ।। 1-218-22 ।।

english translation

tAMza cakarta zaraiH pArthaH saròSAna dRzyakhe carAna vivazAza cApatana dIptaM dehAbhAvAya pAvakama || 1-218-22 ||
