'During those fleeting moments, Ashvasena successfully escaped. Enraged by the serpent's illusory display, Arjuna swiftly severed every creature attempting to flee through the skies into two, three, or more pieces.' ।। 1-218-10 ।।

english translation

tAM ca mAyAM tadA dRSTvA ghòrAM nAgena vaJcitaH davidhA taridhA ca ciccheda khagatAna eva bhArata || 1-218-10 ||
