रथं च दिव्याश्वयुजं कपिप्रवर केतनम उपेतं राजतैर अश्वैर गान्धर्वैर हेममालिभिः पाण्डुराभ्रप्रतीकाशैर मनॊ वायुसमैर जवे ॥ १-२१६-८ ॥
'He also presented a chariot adorned with celestial weapons, its banner bearing a large ape. Yoked to this chariot were steeds as white as silver clouds, born in the realm of the Gandharvas, adorned with golden harness, and as swift as the wind or thought.' ॥ 1-216-8 ॥
