ततः पावकम अब्रूतां परहृष्टौ कृष्ण पाण्डवौ कृतास्त्रौ शस्त्रसंपन्नौ रथिनौ धवजिनाव अपि ॥ १-२१६-२६ ॥
'Then filled with joy, Arjuna and Achyuta (Krishna) said to Pavaka (Agni), "O exalted one, equipped with weapons and skilled in their use, possessing chariots with flags and flagstaffs, we are now capable of fighting not only with all the celestials and the Asuras together.' ॥ 1-216-26 ॥

tataH pAvakama abrUtAM parahRSTau kRSNa pANDavau kRtAstrau zastrasaMpannau rathinau dhavajinAva api ॥ 1-216-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकल्यौ सवॊ भगवन यॊद्धुम अपि सर्वैः सुरासुरैः किं पुनर वज्रिणैकेन पन्नगार्थे युयुत्सुना ॥ १-२१६-२७ ॥
'O Lord, you can fight with all the gods and demons combined in battle. What then of Indra alone, who wishes to fight for the sake of a serpent?' ॥ 1-216-27 ॥
english translation
kalyau savò bhagavana yòddhuma api sarvaiH surAsuraiH kiM punara vajriNaikena pannagArthe yuyutsunA ॥ 1-216-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[आर्ज] चक्रम अस्त्रं च वार्ष्णेयॊ विसृजन युधि वीर्यवान तरिषु लॊकेषु तन नास्ति यन न जीयाज जनार्दनः ॥ १-२१६-२८ ॥
'Arjuna also said, "O Pavaka, when Hrishikesa, endowed with abundant energy, moves on the battlefield with this discus in hand, there is nothing in the three worlds that he cannot destroy by hurling this weapon."' ॥ 1-216-28 ॥

[Arja] cakrama astraM ca vArSNeyò visRjana yudhi vIryavAna tariSu lòkeSu tana nAsti yana na jIyAja janArdanaH ॥ 1-216-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगाण्डीवं धनुर आदाय तथाक्षय्यौ महेषुधी अहम अप्य उत्सहे लॊकान विजेतुं युधि पावक ॥ १-२१६-२९ ॥
'Taking up the Gandiva bow and the two inexhaustible quivers, O Agni (Fire God), I too am capable of conquering the worlds in battle.' ॥ 1-216-29 ॥

gANDIvaM dhanura AdAya tathAkSayyau maheSudhI ahama apya utsahe lòkAna vijetuM yudhi pAvaka ॥ 1-216-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वतः परिवार्यैनं दावेन महता परभॊ कामं संप्रज्वलाद्यैव कल्यौ सवः साह्यकर्मणि ॥ १-२१६-३० ॥
'Therefore, O lord, blaze forth as you wish, encircling this vast forest on all sides. We are fully capable of assisting you.' ॥ 1-216-30 ॥

sarvataH parivAryainaM dAvena mahatA parabhò kAmaM saMprajvalAdyaiva kalyau savaH sAhyakarmaNi ॥ 1-216-30 ॥
