ततः पावकम अब्रूतां परहृष्टौ कृष्ण पाण्डवौ कृतास्त्रौ शस्त्रसंपन्नौ रथिनौ धवजिनाव अपि ।। १-२१६-२६ ।।

'Then filled with joy, Arjuna and Achyuta (Krishna) said to Pavaka (Agni), "O exalted one, equipped with weapons and skilled in their use, possessing chariots with flags and flagstaffs, we are now capable of fighting not only with all the celestials and the Asuras together.' ।। 1-216-26 ।।

'O Lord, you can fight with all the gods and demons combined in battle. What then of Indra alone, who wishes to fight for the sake of a serpent?' ।। 1-216-27 ।।

'Arjuna also said, "O Pavaka, when Hrishikesa, endowed with abundant energy, moves on the battlefield with this discus in hand, there is nothing in the three worlds that he cannot destroy by hurling this weapon."' ।। 1-216-28 ।।

'Taking up the Gandiva bow and the two inexhaustible quivers, O Agni (Fire God), I too am capable of conquering the worlds in battle.' ।। 1-216-29 ।।
