[वासु] कुन्ती मातर ममाप्य एतद रॊचते यद वयं जले सुहृज्जनवृताः पार्थ विहरेम यथासुखम ॥ १-२१४-१६ ॥
'Hearing this, Vasudeva replied, 'O son of Kunti, this is also my desire. Let us, O Partha, enjoy the waters as we wish, in the company of friends.'' ॥ 1-214-16 ॥
english translation
[vAsu] kuntI mAtara mamApya etada ròcate yada vayaM jale suhRjjanavRtAH pArtha viharema yathAsukhama ॥ 1-214-16 ॥

'They reached a beautiful spot on the banks of the Yamuna, perfect for enjoyment, adorned with tall trees and grand mansions that resembled a celestial city.' ॥ 1-214-18 ॥

vihAradezaM saMprApya nAnAdrumavada uttamama gRhaira uccAvacaira yuktaM puraMdara gRhòpamama ॥ 1-214-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभक्ष्यैर भॊज्यैश च पेयैश च रसवद्भिर महाधनैः माल्यैश च विविधैर युक्तं युक्तं वार्ष्णेय पार्थयॊः ॥ १-२१४-१९ ॥
'Inside, arranged for Krishna and Arjuna, were numerous exquisite dishes, drinks, and other delights, along with floral wreaths, various perfumes, and adorned inner apartments sparkling with precious gems.' ॥ 1-214-19 ॥

bhakSyaira bhòjyaiza ca peyaiza ca rasavadbhira mahAdhanaiH mAlyaiza ca vividhaira yuktaM yuktaM vArSNeya pArthayòH ॥ 1-214-19 ॥

'The royal guests, resplendent in their array of exquisite jewels, entered the grand hall where all reveled in the joyous atmosphere of the celebration.' ॥ 1-214-20 ॥
