सनपनॊत्सादने चैव सुयुक्तं वयसान्वितम सत्रीणां सहस्रं गौरीणां सुवेषाणां सुवर्चसाम ॥ १-२१३-४४ ॥
'For the grand bathing ceremony, a spectacle befitting the occasion was arranged: a thousand women of fair complexion, adorned in splendid attire and radiating beauty, stood ready to perform the ritual ablutions.' ॥ 1-213-44 ॥
