स सूर्यस्याभितॊ याति वैनतेयॊ विहंगमः सूर्यरश्मि परीताश च मूर्च्छिताः पन्नगाभवन तदवस्थान सुतान दृष्ट्वा कद्रूः शक्रम अथास्तुवत ।। १-२१-६ ।।

sanskrit

'And that ranger of the skies born of Vinata began to ascend towards the Sun. And thereupon the snakes, scorched by the rays of the Sun, swooned away. And Kadru seeing her sons in that state prayed to Indra.' ।। 1-21-6 ।।

english translation

sa sUryasyAbhitò yAti vainateyò vihaMgamaH sUryarazmi parItAza ca mUrcchitAH pannagAbhavana tadavasthAna sutAna dRSTvA kadrUH zakrama athAstuvata || 1-21-6 ||

'O Purandara, you possess the ability to bestow abundant rain. You are Vayu, the air, the clouds, fire, and the lightning in the skies. You propel the clouds and are known as the great cloud that will darken the universe at the end of the Yuga.' ।। 1-21-9 ।।
