महद यशस तवम इति सदाभिपूज्यसे; मनीषिभिर मुदितमना महर्षिभिः अभिष्टुतः पिबसि च सॊमम अध्वरे; वषट कृतान्य अपि च हवींषि भूतये ।। १-२१-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'You are of immense fame, perpetually revered by the wise and by the great sages absorbed in meditation. You partake in the Soma juice during sacrifices and the clarified butter offered with sacred invocations, all for the benefit of all creatures. Brahmanas, desiring fruitful outcomes, worship you consistently at sacrifices.' ।। 1-21-16 ।।

english translation

mahada yazasa tavama iti sadAbhipUjyase; manISibhira muditamanA maharSibhiH abhiSTutaH pibasi ca sòmama adhvare; vaSaTa kRtAnya api ca havIMSi bhUtaye || 1-21-16 ||
