महद यशस तवम इति सदाभिपूज्यसे; मनीषिभिर मुदितमना महर्षिभिः अभिष्टुतः पिबसि च सॊमम अध्वरे; वषट कृतान्य अपि च हवींषि भूतये ॥ १-२१-१६ ॥
'You are of immense fame, perpetually revered by the wise and by the great sages absorbed in meditation. You partake in the Soma juice during sacrifices and the clarified butter offered with sacred invocations, all for the benefit of all creatures. Brahmanas, desiring fruitful outcomes, worship you consistently at sacrifices.' ॥ 1-21-16 ॥

तवं विप्रैः सततम इहेज्यसे फलार्थं; वेदाङ्गेष्व अतुलबलौघ गीयसे च तवद धेतॊर यजन परायणा दविजेन्द्रा; वेदाङ्गान्य अभिगमयन्ति सर्ववेदैः ॥ १-२१-१७ ॥
'O wielder of unparalleled strength, your praises resound in the Vedas and Vedangas. Therefore, knowledgeable Brahmanas, dedicated to performing sacrifices, diligently study the Vedas.' ॥ 1-21-17 ॥
