[वै] तेषां शरुत्वा महाबाहुर वार्यमाणस तपॊधनैः जगाम तानि तीर्थानि दरष्टुं पुरुषसत्तमः ॥ १-२०८-७ ॥

'Vaisampayana continued, 'Upon hearing these words of the ascetics, that foremost of men endowed with mighty arms, despite their dissuasion, proceeded to behold those waters.'' ॥ 1-208-7 ॥
