लब्ध्वा वराणि सर्वाणि दैत्येन्द्राव अपि ताव उभौ अवध्यौ सर्वलॊकस्य सवम एव भवनं गतौ ॥ १-२०१-२६ ॥
'Then, having received those numerous boons, the mighty Daitya brothers became invulnerable to anyone in the universe. Afterward, they returned to their abode.' ॥ 1-201-26 ॥

तौ तु लब्धवरौ दृष्ट्वा कृतकामौ महासुरौ सर्वः सुहृज्जनस ताभ्यां परमॊदम उपजग्मिवान ॥ १-२०१-२७ ॥
'All their friends and relatives, upon seeing those intelligent Daityas crowned with success in obtaining the boons, became exceedingly joyful.' ॥ 1-201-27 ॥

ततस तौ तु जटा हित्वा मौलिनौ संबभूवतुः महार्हाभरणॊपेतौ विरजॊऽमबरधारिणौ ॥ १-२०१-२८ ॥
'Sunda and Upasunda then cut off their matted locks and adorned themselves with crowns on their heads. Dressed in luxurious robes and adorned with precious ornaments, they appeared remarkably handsome.' ॥ 1-201-28 ॥

अकालकौमुदीं चैव चक्रतुः सार्वकामिकी दैत्येन्द्रौ परमप्रीतौ तयॊश चैव सुहृज्जनः ॥ १-२०१-२९ ॥
'The two Daitya lords, extremely pleased, caused an untimely moonlight to appear at will, And their well-wishers were also greatly delighted.' ॥ 1-201-29 ॥

भक्ष्यतां भुज्यतां नित्यं रम्यतां गीयताम इति पीयतां दीयतां चेति वाच आसन गृहे गृहे ॥ १-२०१-३० ॥
'"Let there be feasting, let there be enjoyment daily, let there be singing and revelry. Let there be drinking and giving," so spoke the voices in every household.' ॥ 1-201-30 ॥
