बलॊर्मिमान साधुर अदीनसत्त्वः; समृद्धिमान दुष्प्रसहस तवम एव तपः शरुतं सर्वम अहीन कीर्ते; अनागतं चॊपगतं च सर्वम ॥ १-२०-११ ॥
'You are the embodiment of strength, virtuous, compassionate to the weak, powerful, with immense endurance. You have acquired all knowledge through austerities, renowned for your glory, and you know both the past and the future.' ॥ 1-20-11 ॥

तवम उत्तमः सर्वम इदं चराचरं; गभस्तिभिर भानुर इवावभाससे समाक्षिपन भानुमतः परभां मुहुस; तवम अन्तकः सर्वम इदं धरुवाध्रुवम ॥ १-२०-१२ ॥
'You are the ultimate, encompassing all that is movable and immovable; like the radiant sun among the stars, you shine brilliantly. Effortlessly, you surpass even the supreme brilliance of the sun. You are the inevitable end of all, the stable and eternal foundation of everything.' ॥ 1-20-12 ॥

दिवाकरः परिकुपितॊ यथा दहेत; परजास तथा दहसि हुताशनप्रभ भयंकरः परलय इवाग्निर उत्थितॊ; विनाशयन युगपरिवर्तनान्त कृत ॥ १-२०-१३ ॥
'Like the wrathful sun scorching all, you consume your adversaries with a fiery radiance. Fierce as the destructive fire during cosmic dissolution, you arise, bringing simultaneous destruction and transformation at the end of each age.' ॥ 1-20-13 ॥

सवगेश्वरं शरणम उपस्थिता वयं; महौजसं वितिमिरम अभ्रगॊचरम महाबलं गरुडम उपेत्य खेचरं; परावरं वरदम अजय्य विक्रमम ॥ १-२०-१४ ॥
'We have sought refuge in the Lord of all creatures, the one of great splendor, dispelling darkness like a luminous cloud, the immensely powerful Garuda. Approaching the celestial abode, he is both the superior and the giver of boons, unconquerable and possessing invincible valor.' ॥ 1-20-14 ॥

एवं सतुतः सुपर्णस तु देवैः सर्षिगणैस तदा तेजसः परतिसंहारम आत्मनः स चकार ह ॥ १-२०-१५ ॥
'Thus praised by the gods and the assembly of sages, Garuda then demonstrated the suppression of his own brilliance.' ॥ 1-20-15 ॥
