ऐषीकं पर्व निर्दिष्टम अत ऊर्ध्वं सुदारुणम जलप्रदानिकं पर्व सत्री पर्व च ततः परम ।। १-२-६१ ।।

sanskrit

'Then comes the 'Aisika' of harrowing incidents. Then comes 'Jalapradana' oblations of water to the manes of the deceased, and then the wailings of the women.' ।। 1-2-61 ।।

english translation

aiSIkaM parva nirdiSTama ata UrdhvaM sudAruNama jalapradAnikaM parva satrI parva ca tataH parama || 1-2-61 ||

चार्वाक निग्रहः पर्व रक्षसॊ बरह्मरूपिणः परविभागॊ गृहाणां च पर्वॊक्तं तदनन्तरम ।। १-२-६३ ।।

'Then comes the destruction of the Rakshasa Charvaka who had assumed the disguise of a Brahmana (for deceiving Yudhishthira).Followed by the division of wealth among the households, and beyond that is the mentioned episode.' ।। 1-2-63 ।।

'Those that follow are called respectively 'Suka-prasna-abhigamana', 'Brahma-prasnanusana', the origin of 'Durvasa', the disputations with Maya. The next is to be known as 'Anusasanika'. Then the ascension of Bhishma to heaven happened.' ।। 1-2-65 ।।
