ऐषीकं पर्व निर्दिष्टम अत ऊर्ध्वं सुदारुणम जलप्रदानिकं पर्व सत्री पर्व च ततः परम ॥ १-२-६१ ॥

'Then comes the 'Aisika' of harrowing incidents. Then comes 'Jalapradana' oblations of water to the manes of the deceased, and then the wailings of the women.' ॥ 1-2-61 ॥

aiSIkaM parva nirdiSTama ata UrdhvaM sudAruNama jalapradAnikaM parva satrI parva ca tataH parama ॥ 1-2-61 ॥
